Jabulani, meaning ‘to celebrate’ was the official match ball for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
Panel shape, seams and surface texture were engineered in co-ordination to improve aerodynamic stability and reduce knuckling in flight.
Before helping secure Spain their first ever World Cup title, Jabulani featured in The African Cup of Nations, and was later adopted by the top-tier leagues of Germany, Portugal and the USA for the 2010/11 season.
